This week we’ve had Grace Edwards, a student from Ladies’ College, join us for work experience. Grace is a sixth form student who is currently in her first year of A-levels. She has a keen interest in marketing and this week she learnt about all the services we offer to gain a better insight into the marketing industry. Here is a little snippet of what she got up to and how she has found the experience.

“My work experience at Clicksmith has proved to be an invaluable opportunity. From the first day the team were very welcoming and took time to introduce themselves and show me around the office.

“Throughout my time at Clicksmith I have had the opportunity to spend time with everyone individually where they took their time to explain and show me what they did in their role. I was given various opportunities to work on different tasks and have been able to have a go at writing social ads, articles, sitting in on meetings, designing ads as well having the opportunity to go out and watch the drone flying which was an amazing experience.

“After every task I gained positive feedback on it which was helpful towards my learning. What struck me most about the team at Clicksmith was their kindness and patience, they were always willing to talk me through something and help me if I needed it, it was clear that they were eager to help me learn.

“Overall, my time at Clicksmith was an incredible opportunity that allowed me to gain important experience and skills. The team’s kindness and willingness has enabled me to leave feeling confident and motivated.
